Instructions.
Move the red point to move the vector in space. Click the red point to switch between
\(x\)-
\(y\) mode and
\(z\) mode. Rotate the diagram to see it from different angles.
Note that the red, blue and green triangles are right angled although it is not always easy to see this. The vector is the hypotenuse and the adjacent sides are the
\(x\text{,}\) \(y\text{,}\) and
\(z\) rectangular components. The rectangular components and the direction angles are shown.
